James H.
James H. has been both an active Oregon Humane Society supporter and adopter since 1980. James also fostered cats and litters of kittens as well. Currently, at his house, “it is just me and 15-yearold Moochie, a black & white cat with one eye and very few teeth.”
Don Marshall and Michael Marx
Portland has been home to Don and Michael since they relocated from California 19 years ago. Long-time animal devotees and rescue advocates, they became active OHS supporters shortly upon their arrival.
Jane and Dick Miller
Jane and Dick Miller have always loved animals. Allergies prevented them from having a dog or cat, but that didn’t stop them. Ten years ago, thanks to the generosity of Northwest Alpacas, they became the proud owners of two alpacas, Fito and Toyo.
A Gift with Guaranteed Income for Life
I am a long-time supporter of Oregon Humane Society. I’ve done it all—volunteering, donating, and working with staff. In fact, I’ve even been Santa at the holiday event, Santa Paws, for over twenty years!
Al Didier and Sherry Holley
In the 40 years my partner Sherry Holley and I have been together, we’ve deeply loved and cared for 16 wonderful cats. It would be an understatement to say we are cat people! And our love for cats extends beyond just those in our home—so we have been longtime supporters of Oregon Humane Society and the cats in their care for over 25 years now.
